Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Tulsi Joha Rice
- 2 Tbsp Homemade Cow Ghee
- Saffron strands (Kesar)
- 3-4 Cloves
- 1 Tbsp Cardamom Powder
- 5-6 Almonds (Chopped)
- 5-6 Pistachio (Chopped)
Cooking Procedure
- Rinse the Rice well to clean it from any impurities and let is soak in water for 15 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pan, add cloves, and let them crackle.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of water and half cup Tulsi Joha Rice and bring it to boil, reduce the heat to low and cover.
- In another pan, boil sugar with 1/2 cup water until sugar melts.
- Add saffron and partially cooked rice to the sugar mixture. Cook until water evaporates.
- Garnish with chopped almonds, pistachios, cardamom powder and saffron strands.
